Who I am . . .

I have always had a very strong passion for working with animals, I started riding horses around age 10, and by the time I turned 16 that hobby became a passion of mine. I always knew I was going to work with animals, and after I graduated high school in 2019 I attempted to pursue a career as a professional horse trainer, however due to health issues and physical limitations I had to put that dream aside. That is when dogs became not only my passion, but my whole world.

I brought home my first dog when I was a senior in high school, and through puppy classes, trainers, online courses, and hours online I owner trained him to be my service dog! During the process of training Atka, I learned how much I loved and connected with him and I began pursuing dog training professionally.

Since 2019 when my dog training journey started, I have completed schooling and certification through CATCH canine trainers academy, and have spent hundreds of hours working with many different dogs for others professionally since 2022! I have experience with puppies, older rescue dogs who may be entering a new home, behavioral problems, reactivity and obedience training.

I have two dogs, a 5 year old Standard Poodle, Atka, and an Australian Shepherd puppy, Ducky, who was born in the summer of 2024!

Atka is my retired service dog, who now enjoys his days doing trick training, playing chuck it with his ball, swimming, hiking, and being an excellent demo dog for my clients! Atka’s calm demeanor has helped me and many clients' dogs work through dog reactivity.

Ducky is my sport dog prospect, while we are currently working on puppy manners and behaviors, we have goals of trialing in fast cats, lure cursing, rally, scent work, and agility. Ducky is a high energy, high drive puppy who has been such a joy to work with so far.
